Gothic Teens (2023) is a digital triptych done using Procreate. In the work, three iconic “monsters” of gothic literature are portrayed as the various stages of teen-hood. The piece in the centerfold shows Jekyll/Hyde, at the end of the preteen years. On the right is Dracula, in the heart of teen-hood. Finally, the left shows Adam, the Creature from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1818), portraying the transition into adulthood.
